Houston, Texas – March 15, 2005 – Jim McVaugh, President of McVaugh Custom Homes Inc., was awarded America's Best Builder 2005 – small volume builder by BUILDER Magazine and the National Association of Homebuilders at the International Builder Show in Orlando Florida. Home Builders across the United States enter this award program annually and only a select few will ever be given this distinct title. Entrants must submit historical and current financial data, operation detail, product design, processes for production and customer service and sales and marketing plans for consideration. America's Best Builder is awarded for business operations and systems as a whole, not just by the finished product they sell to the consumer. Entrants are judged on financial and operational performance, customer service, production and design, marketing and community involvement and associations.
