McVaugh Custom Homes is Awarded Top Honors for Style and Innovation
Houston, Texas – June 2009 - The nation’s 2005 America’s Best Builder winner takes home top honors.
The nationally recognized Dream Home Awards has announced in the Wall Street Journal that McVaugh Custom Homes has been awarded its Gold Medal for Town Home or Condominium of the Year and further that McVaugh Custom Homes won Silver Medals for Custom Old World Home of the Year and Best Condominium or Loft of the Year. The Gold Medal winner is McVaugh’s Cape Cottage townhome in its Oasis Pointe Townhome project on Lake Woodlands in the East Shore development of The Woodlands north of Houston, Texas. This custom townhome is 3 story with elevator and incorporates 3 bedrooms and 3 ˝ baths in its 2612 square feet of living area. The spacious 2 car garage is rear entry and there are terraces on both the front and rear of the home to take advantage of views of Lake Woodlands or the Oasis Park. It is one of five custom floor plans in the project that have received enthusiastic customer acclaim.
The 5,745 square foot custom home designed and constructed for a very discerning client in Piney Point Village won McVaugh a Silver Medal. This one and a half story estate home built in one of the premier residential communities in the Houston area includes every type of home amenity that our maturing empty nesters could want.
